May 18: John Peterson

Jaunty, melodic, fresh and catchy tunes with sharp lyrics (a Woody Guthrie kind of style for a 21st century crowd), John Peterson makes his debut at The Dog on Friday night (May 18).
Here's a taste: 
Gig kicks off at 7.30pm until late. No cover charge.
Pizzas of the gourmet, sweet treats and beverages of the fine kind will be served.

May 26: Mark your calendars. May is National Barbecue Month and Gray Dog Deli's Annual Slug Bug BBQ is on Saturday, May 26th from 11am until 4pm.
Award-winning King of The BBQ, Mark Pepelea (Ted & Lynnea's cousin), is once again bringing his Slug Bug Super Smoker to town.
An original 1974 Super Beetle, it has been fitted out with two custom wood smokers. Folks who've been to this event before, know what's in store: Prepare to kick off summer with Mark's addictively tasty, finger lickin' good BBQ.
With over 15 years of cooking BBQ and a string of trophies to his name, Mark (who also happens to be a physicist), is a man obsessed with the cooking process; he's all about quality meat, technique & great taste.
A family affair, there will be a tribe of Lauffers from across the county on hand to help serve up this Feast of the Beast.
